Aber Falls Whisky Distillery is one of only four in Wales, and the first in North Wales since the early 1900s. Located within a stone’s throw of Rhaeadr Fawr, the famous Aber Falls waterfall, their inaugural release Single Malt whisky is distilled, bottled and matured in our distillery, using specially crafted Welsh ingredients from the surrounding area. Their first foray into whisky producing after a stellar start to their gin production is a 3 year old Single Malt bottled at 46% ABV with only 2000 bottles available aged in a mix of American Virgin oak, Sherry & Orange wine casks Nose: Tropical fruit upfront with coconut, mango and banana alongside cinnamon, freshly cut grass and rum and raisin ice cream Palate: Dark chocolate, golden syrup and creme brulee with slight pine and savoury notes Finish: Pleasantly sweet with cream, vanilla and slight spice
