Built in 1893, Convalmore was situated near the Keith & Dufftown heritage railway station in Moray, Speyside. Convalmore did not survive the great cull of distilleries in the 1980s; the site was sold to William Grant & Sons in 1985. The buildings remain but the distilling equipment is long gone.
Diageo has released official bottlings of Convalmore under both the Rare Malts brand and through its annual release programme. Independent bottlings are rarely seen these days; Gordon & MacPhail have released both Connoisseurs Choice and Private Collection bottlings
