Beluga vodka was founded in 2002 at the historic Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia, Russia, inspired by the luxury of beluga caviar. The brand emphasizes craftsmanship through a traditional Russian process of using pure Siberian artesian water and 100% malted grain, with a multi-stage filtration and a lengthy resting period. In 2022, Noblewood Group acquired the brand (excluding Russia) and moved production of the raw spirit to its distillery in Latvia, with rectification and bottling occurring in Montenegro, though production maintains the core principles of quality and craftsmanship
