Vodka
Tito's Handmade Vodka's brand story centers on founder Bert "Tito" Beveridge, a geophysicist who taught himself to distill after making infused vodkas as gifts. He obtained the first legal distilling permit in Texas in 1995, built his own still, and founded his company with 19 credit cards to create a smooth, corn-based vodka he believed was different from the flavored options on the market. The brand's early success was propelled by word-of-mouth, a simple stock bottle, and a major win at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2001.
