Rum
Goslings rum was founded in 1806 in Bermuda by James Gosling after his ship was diverted to the island. The company began blending its own rum around 1860, creating Black Seal Rum by aging a dark, full-bodied blend in Champagne bottles that were sealed with black wax, which gave the rum its name. The family-owned business has been passed down for seven generations and is now Bermuda's largest export.
