Whiskey
The Togouchi brand story begins with the Chugoku Jozo brewery, founded in Hiroshima in 1918, which initially produced sake and shochu. In 1990, the company started blending Scotch and Canadian whiskies, which were then aged in a unique, 361-meter-long railway tunnel, and the brand was launched using imported whisky. In 2018, the company opened the Sakurao distillery, allowing them to produce 100% Japanese whisky on-site and shift their blended products to be made with their own distilled spirit
