Established on Moffat Street in Glasgow in 1927 and not to be confused with the Moffat distillery in Airdrie and like many grain distilleries produces huge output for blending, here originally for the Long John blends. The Kinclaith single malt was also within this distillery until being demolished to make way for more grain production in 1975. Now owned by Pernod Ricard and produces about 40 million litres per year.
