Scotch
Meaning the “House on the Moor” and one of the oldest and largest in the Diageo owned group of distilleries producing 4 million litres per year and established in 1817. Strange then that so few official bottles exist beyond a 10 year old as part of the flora and fauna range, situated in the North Highlands near The Dalmore distillery and a vital part of the Johnnie Walker range of blends. Plans are ongoing to expand this distillery and double the output by 2016 and the house style here is richer, oilier malt with robust spice and some smoke.
