A single cask offering matured in refill hogshead oak casks with only 221 bottles available. Nose: Herbal, floral with hints of green pear, rice pudding, blanched almonds, candyfloss, lemon rind, ripe melon and an almost agave/vermouth/fino sherry like note. Palate: Big on the marzipan/almond, spicy vanillin oak, custard powder, ripe melon, waxy lemon, lime sherbet, touch of aniseed, white flowers. Finish: Floral (white roses) vanilla icing, lemon sherbet, green pear, champagne, white chocolate bon bons. A natural cask strength (57. 3%) youngster that is quite lively and spicy, needs water.
