A distillery that seems to have changed its name more often than most other, much older distilleries. They kept changing the official name from Glen Deveron to MacDuff and back again and now recent bottlings have been simply labeled as "The Deveron" The name of the original founding company was Glen Deveron Distillers Limited. This is an official bottle release from the 1980's by William Lawson Distillers Limited and specially bottled to commemorate the granting of the Royal Charter to the Burgh of Macduff 1783-1983.
