A rare 1966 vintage Springbank. Not to be confused with the Local Barley bottling of the same year, this was bottled in the early to mid 1980's,and was distilled shortly after the distillery had closed it's own floor maltings. Using a combination of ex- Bourbon cask and Olorosso Sherry casks, this has a moderate sherry character and slight smokiness on the palate.
