The 7th release in the Glengoyne Cask Strength series is the first to feature a small proportion of ex-Bourbon barrels alongside traditional ex-Sherry casks. Bottled un-chillfiltered at 58. 9% ABV, Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch No. 007 has been crafted using a combination of first-fill European and American oak Oloroso Sherry casks, refill casks, and ex-Bourbon barrels. The whisky boasts a fruity, malty flavour profile, featuring notes of cinnamon, orange, peaches and honey. Its warm amber-gold hue is imparted from time and wood alone.
