The Vintage 1992 bottled in 2004 and 2005 was described by Chris Orr in Food and Travel magazine back in 2005 as: ?a wonderful spicy little number infused with candied citrus fruits, hints of Christmas cake and most of all a lovely creamy vanilla flavour. Delicious. ?. We couldn?t put it better ourselves. Although we would add that the 1992 was one of those whiskies that takes a while to get to know. This is, if you like, a ?developer?; a bit like a shy guest at a party who needs time to get into the swing of things, but who, once relaxed and in the mood, turns out to be great fun: maybe not the obvious life and soul, but certainly someone you?d want to spend more time with.
