Distilled from New York Wheat (previously known as Black Wax) This whiskey is produced the same way we make our wheat base spirit for our gin. That means we distill the grain in a manner to retain the character of the wheat. That flavor is then matched with the contribution of the barrel as it matures here in our space. Distilled from 100% wheat, aged a minimum of 4 months in new American Oak Producer Breuckelen Distilling began crafting gin and whiskey during the summer of 2010. We produce each of our spirits entirely from scratch under one roof in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. We mill, mash, ferment, distill, mature, fill, and label each and every bottle of spirits that bears our name. Our promise to start with unprocessed ingredients, use only New York grown grains, and only sell what we make. We won’t buy bulk distilled spirits and sell them as our own. From time to time that means we may be out of a particular product and we ask for your understanding. Each item we craft takes time and patience.
