The Trimbachs have a purist vision. Across 12 generations, the family has always produced wines that are structured, long-lived, fruity, elegant and balanced: the celebrated Trimbach style. Grapes are picked as late as possible in order to achieve maximum ripeness which, in turn, gives optimum depth of flavor and complexity. The grapes are picked by hand, close to the vendanges tardives “late harvest” level, and pressed gently in a pneumatic press. The juice runs into the cellar by gravity and clarifies naturally prior to fermentation. The juice ferments in stainless steel at controlled temperature for 2-3 weeks. The wine is not oak-aged, as the Trimbachs believe that wood adds nothing to their wines, the salient characteristics of which are extreme purity and concentrated fruit. Bottling is done early to preserve freshness and the wines are bottle-aged before release. 14% abv

| Since 1626 the Trimbach family has been promoting the history exceptional terroirs and fine wines of Alsace. Maison Trimbach is located in Ribeauville where today three generations work closely together. Daytoday operations are handled personally by brothers Pierre and Jean Trimbach representing the 12th generation. Bernard and Hubert Trimbach the 11th generation (father and uncle respectively to Pierre and Jean) remain integrally involved. Anne the eldest of the 13th generation has just joined the family business. The Trimbachs have a purist vision. Bottles remain in the cellar for several years before reaching the marketplace ensuring the wines are both ready to drink upon release but also hold great aging potential. |

| Excellent wine to be matched with creamy sauces and mushrooms. Great with seafood and white meats, veal, poultry, and chicken in white wine sauces. Pinot Gris is one of the few wines able to perfectly match fusion cuisine and Asian flavors. |
