$152.04 price per bottle

Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits competition 2019 Few are a craft distillery from Evanston, Illinois, a city that suffered Prohibition for over one hundred years and the distillery actually takes its name from the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, a key figure in the Temperance Movement. The Rye here also uses Corn and malted Barley in the mashbill recipe. Nose: Minty tobacco, black cherry liquorice, spices (cumin and an almost curry powder/tumeric note!) black plum and grape. Palate: Minty chocolate, fruity tobacco, spicy raisin, toasted spices, black cherry cough drops, quite a thick and oily body with some banana pick and mix sweetness. Finish: Lasting spice, menthol, cherry liquorice drying into tobacco, aromatic spices and corn syrup on toasted raisin pancakes. A fun and funky rye that is big and bold enough to stand up to some classic rye cocktail recipes or just enjoyable straight.
