Double Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits competition 2019 An extra aged Bourbon from St Louis Missouri, that has a high proportion of Rye in the mash bill (unlike its slightly younger sibling the 1843, which has a higher proportion of Rye in its mashbill). Full bodied and distinctly spicy. Full and sweet on the nose with honey, vanilla and a slight smokiness. The palate is rich with oaky spice and smoke followed by a smooth, long finish.
