Cruz de Alba is made with grapes from vines over 20years old in the Pagos de los Hoyales, at the heart of Ribera del Dueros ‘Golden Mile. Manual harvest when the grapes attain optimum ripeness, fermentation according to traditional Bordeaux methods, and ageing in new French and American oak casks, provide this unique wine with elegance and distinction. |

All non-irrigated vineyards 100% hand-farmed and hand-harvested Currently 60 acres of vineyards are planted. 80% Tempranillo, with inclusions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec All fruit is hand sorted as it is received at the winery; all of the wines are artisanally crafted. Modern technology. Small stainless steel, temperature-controlled fermenters. 100% new American and French oak barrels are used for every vintage; 600 barrels in all (60% American, 40% French oak). |
