A new limited edition release from Bunnahabhain. This 22 Year Old, heavily peated single malt was initailly filled into American Oak barrels back in 1997 before a finishing period in sweet Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. This has a distinctive flavour of rich Islay peat and peppery smokiness, swirling with sweeter undercurrents of vanilla, caramel and soft fruits. A wonderful mix of sweet and smoky, this is one one of the best balanced smoky Bunnahabhains to have been released and with only 1661 bottles produced, this is sure to disappear quickly.
