Grapes are sourced from Campillo estate vineyards in Laguardia, in the Rioja province of northern Spain. A small percentage of grapes from 35-year-old vines grown in the nearby vineyards of Leza and Villabuena were added. Wine maker notes Select grapes were harvested from the estate’s lowest yield vineyards. After undergoing traditional vinification, including 18 days of maceration, the wine is aged for over two years in oak casks and refined in the bottle a further six years prior to release.
