Wine maker notes From a single vineyard block on Atlas Peak, where the high altitude and good exposure provide ample direct sunlight, cool temperatures and gravelly soils ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Nick Goldschmidt allows the grapes to ripen slowly, and then ferments them in temperature controlled stainless steel. The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 15 months in 100% French oak. Producer Our focus is Cabernet Sauvignon from two prestigous vineyards in Northern California - Yoeman Vineyard, located on the northeastern slope in the Alexander Valley, and Game Ranch Vineyard, located on old river bottom on the eastern bench of the Silverado Trail. Both showcase the optimum silhouettes of Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley and Napa Valley.
