Aged in oak for three months, this wine is medium bodied with juicy acidity and a long smooth finish.
This wine is produced in the Lisboa region, which is considered one of the most important wine regions in terms of vineyard area and wine production as well as being home to the nation’s capital. Over 30 different grape varieties are grown in the area allowing for a wide variety of wines to be made. Mula Velha means ‘Old Mule’. It’s used as an expression in Portugal to characterize a wise, knowledgeable person. The name was chosen to express that this bottle is made by incredibly experienced winemakers that create consistent, high-quality wines at a great value.
