Mackmyra Moment SkogShallon is a wonderfully summery whiskey with soft flavors of red berries that bring forth thoughts of the Swedish summer. An elegant single malt whiskey partially matured in ex-bourbon barrels saturated with 'wine' from Swedish wild raspberries. Skogshallon has also been matured in new American oak barrels, and the result is a naturally fruity whiskey with tones of red forest berries, vanilla, sour caramels, tobacco leaves and roasted oak barrels. Master Blender Angela D'Arazio has created a whiskey with the taste of Swedish summer. The is a limited edition of only 1511 bottles. Official Tasting Notes Nose - Soft and fruity with strawberries, citrus, pear caramel, vanilla, ginger, white pepper and roasted oak barrels. Palate - Fruity with sour red kara- flour, spicy vanilla, pear caramel and hints of mild tobacco leaves and oak barrels. Finish - Soft aromas of sour caramels, vanilla and tobacco leaves.
