Another wonderful new addition to the award winning Kavalan range from Taiwan that is aged in American white oak virgin casks and a selection of re-fill casks from the Kavalan archive of previous releases. Nose: Golden syrup, pineapple upside down cake, plum sauce, butterscotch, aromatic honey, peaches in syrup, orange blossom, incence wood spice. Palate: Sweet and syrupy delivery with aromatic spices, peach melba, honeycomb, butterscotch, demorera sugar, toffee apple, spiced plum jam & juicy sultana. Finish: Orange blossom honey on sultana bread toast, spicy peach melba, apricot jam, aromatic oak. A rich and juicy caramelised white stone fruit malt with plenty of aromatic spiced oak and another beautifully made whisky from an ever increasingly impressive array of releases from this distillery.
