Matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Oloroso sherry casks to bring out its rich fruity flavour. Flavours and aromas of Sherry soaked Madeira cake studded with glace cherries. A typically gentle and easy drinking release from Penderyn. Tasting Notes Nose: Glace cherry, malt loaf, praline, hazelnuts, floral notes and runny honey. Palate: Toasted nuts, praline, madeira cake or sherry soaked trifle sponge, figs, sultana, buttery oak. Finish: Madeira cake, glace cherry, nutty spice, mocha/praline, honey on brown toast.
