Aged for 13 long years, Longrow Red 13 Year Old - Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon Finish is a lightly peated dram that was matured in Chilean cabernet sauvignon wide casks at the base of the Andes in Chile. This is a really unusual and exciting release, with notes of stewed red fruits, ginger, barley sugar and custard flavoured boiled sweets on the nose. The palate is fruity again, with notes of red apple and red fruits, black tea and some peat smoke, before leading to a dry finish with elements of rosemary, tobacco smoke and some driftwood.
