This special release is to celebrate Starward's 15th Anniversary. Meaning life in Latin, Vitalis is a celebration of Starward and their vast achievements so far. Vitalis is truly unlike any other Starward Whisky - Parcels from Tawny barrels, Rum barrels, Bourbon barrels and Apera barrels were all specifically chosen, then carefully blended together to create a complex yet perfectly balanced, fruit forward Single Malt. Nose: Chewy toffee, raisins, chocolate coated pineapples and cedar. Palate: Big and viscous - rich dried fruits, red currant, and lightly
roasted coffee beans. Nice balance with the bright tropical, old school Starward spirit. Finish: Long and oily with a delicate balance of fruit and oak. The higher ABV gives good palate weight and texture.
