My British friend would send his mum up to Scotland to buy Wallace whenever they produced a batch. She would ship it to us in the US, and at $50/bottle, we drank it whenever we had cause for a proper celebration. To our dismay we found they had stopped producing it and we had missed out. When I learned that they would produce one final batch, at my behest, we sent his mum meet with her friend/seller in Scotland and reserved 5 cases, 4 of which came to me. After giving bottles as gifts and celebrating with friends, I retained 2 1/2 cases for myself. Last night I just finished the 3rd bottle, leaving me with 2 unopened cases. This is a very special whisky and sadly one day, they will all be gone. Perhaps I will leave a few bottles in my estate, to be passed down to future generations.

Excellent whisky! I have 2 bottles. Unsure of their worth now. Would possibly sell one for right price I suppose.
