Tenuta di Sesta, established in 1850, is a historic winery located in the southern part of Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy. Owned and operated by the Ciacci family, the estate has consistently focused on traditional aging methods in large oak barrels and has adapted vineyard management practices to align with climatic changes, all to authentically express the Montalcino terroir. Wine Description The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 'Duelecci' is crafted exclusively from 100% Sangiovese grapes, sourced from the estate's finest vineyard, Vigna Duelecci. This wine exhibits a ruby red color that evolves towards garnet with aging. On the nose, it offers elegant and refined aromas of licorice, berry jam, tobacco, star anise, and spices. The palate is intense and deep, with a rich and expressive center, fine and evolved tannic texture, and a finish of great balance.
