Chateau Le Pin is a boutique estate located in the revered Pomerol appellation on Bordeaux’s Right Bank. Founded in the late 20th century by the Thienpont family, the estate quickly rose to cult status due to its minute production and meticulously crafted wines. The vineyard spans just over 2 hectares, making it one of the smallest but most prestigious in the region. Wine Description The 2022 Le Pin is a mesmerizing expression of Merlot-dominant Bordeaux, presenting a deep garnet hue. The nose is intensely aromatic with ripe black cherry, plum, violets, and exotic spices, lifted by hints of cedar and mocha. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet exceptionally graceful, showcasing silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and seamless integration of oak.
