Wine Description This wine is predominantly Chardonnay, blended with a small percentage of Fiano (typically 90% Chardonnay and 10% Fiano). It presents a straw yellow colour with possible golden or light greenish reflections. The nose is intense, unfolding aromas of white pulp fruit, such as yellow peach, pear, and melon, complemented by citrus notes of orange and lime. Delicate floral notes of hawthorn and acacia, along with subtle hints of vanilla and white chocolate, complete the aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is described as balanced, elegant, fresh, and structured. It has a soft entry and a pleasant acidity, leading to a medium to full body. The Pietrabianca shows outstanding freshness and complexity. It closes with pleasant minerality, which is typical of the Bocca di Lupo estate's soils. It can be enjoyed immediately but also has a potential optimal drinking window of up to 5 years. This wine is made from organically grown grapes and is certified organic.
