Glenrronach 28 Years Old Cask 4193 Single Malt is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highlands of Scotland. It was distilled at The GlenDronach Distillery, which was founded in 1826 by James Allardice. The distillery is renowned for its mastery of sherry cask maturation, using Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Spain's Andalucía region. Description This whisky was distilled in 1993 and bottled after 28 years of maturation in a single Oloroso Puncheon cask, bottled exclusively for the Canadian market. It has a 'cherried bronze' colour. The nose offers notes of dates, sultana fruitcake, smooth mellow oak, sweet orange, and morello cherry. The palate is described as having flavours of bramble and dark fruit compote, with hints of cinnamon, walnut, and date. There is no information to indicate that this whisky is organic.
