Description The Dalmore Vintage Collection 2006 is an 18-year-old single malt matured initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being refined in rare 30-year-old Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks. Bottled at 47. 2% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour, it reveals deep amber hues. On the nose, it opens with sherry-soaked raisins, roasted figs, cedarwood and honey. The palate is rich with dark fruits, liquorice, cacao, and a citrus lift of bergamot and blood orange. The finish lingers with cassia bark, dark chocolate and antique sherry notes, offering a complex and indulgent experience. Food Pairing This distinguished whisky pairs beautifully with venison tenderloin, dark chocolate torte, or aged Manchego cheese.
