With fifty hectares of vineyards, Tenuta J. Hofstatter is one of the largest private wine estates in the Alto Adige and yet manages to live up to its reputation for absolutely pristine quality. Rich and unctuous but with mountain freshness and purity. It's medium-bodied, well-structured, and beautifully harmonious, with mouthwatering acidity. The satiny palate features peach, pear, steely minerals, lemon, grapefruit, apple, and melon. It's a good match for Lobster risotto, Branzino, or Linguine alle Vongole.
