Arguably the greatest winemaker in Vinho Verde (yes, Vinho Verde is an actual place!), Soalheiros "Granit" is an unoaked Alvarinho thats very dry (less than a gram of residual sugar and 6. 6 grams of total acidity) and comes in at 13% alcohol. Just gorgeous, this is focused on elegance, but it has some substance, too, and finishes with harmony as well as freshness. Pure, concentrated in fruit on the finish, yet always fresh and lifted, this is impossible to resist in its youth, but it should also age well.
