Ribolla Gialla is one of the greatest white grapes of Italy. Indigenous to the Friuli, these wines can frequently exude terroir in a way thats not unlike white Burgundy--although beyond the salty minerality, there's something just a little bit unctuous, a little bit peachy and ripe that makes them just irresistible. This is the entry level bottling from Puiatti which for many years was vinified into an orange wine known by the moniker Architipi although it is now being vinified as a Bianco, and as much as I liked the orange version, I find this simply irresistible. --Codey Foster, Wine Director
