The 315-case 2014 Syrah DuBrul Vineyard is a beauty! Black raspberries, black cherries, toasted spice and licorice notes all emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied, elegant, seamless style that builds nicely with time in the glass. Possessing ripe, sweet tannin (there's no astringency or coarseness), good mid-palate depth and a clean finish, drink it anytime through 2024. This cuvee spent 20 months in twice used barrels. . Pulling from her estate DuBrul Vineyard located just beside the estate, winemaker Kerry Shiels makes a classic, elegant and age-worthy style of wine.
