A red wine made from Tempranillo grapes from vines over 60 yearsâ old cultivated in estate vineyards located within the municipality of Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa. . VINEYARDS. Various micro-plots (<1 Ha. ) situated in the municipality of Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa with its characteristic very poor chalky-clay soils. Average age of the vines: >60 years. . Average altitude of the vineyards: approx. 600 metres. Training system: bush vines and bushes raised on trellises. Sustainable viticulture with 100% manual working. . Deep cherry red colour, compote fruit aromas, aromatic herbs, bread and figs. Sensation of macerated fruits, raisins, tobacco, smoky and liquorice.
