Grape variety: Pinot Noir. Surface: 0. 2073 ha. Planted: 1980. Soil: Very stony limestone clay, with little arable soil. Orientation: Southeast. The name Le Ronceret refers to a climat that once contained bushes and brambles (ronces in French) that had to be cleared before vines could be planted. . Vinification. 50% whole bunch vinification. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by 15 days in vat. Aged in oak barrels (20% new) for 18 months, then racked into stainless steel vats before bottling.
