Chardonnay has significant historical roots with Goosecross Cellars considering it was the first varietal grown on the State Lane Estate, and was the first wine produced and bottled by Goosecross. . Our Chardonnay opens with an expressive, inviting nose of ripe pear, melon, and sun-kissed peach, layered with a soft note of meringue that adds a touch of creaminess. On the palate, a lively thread of salinity awakens the senses, giving way to flavors of green pineapple and prickly pear. A hint of Nilla wafer rounds out the mid-palate, bringing a subtle, nostalgic warmth. The result is a vibrant yet polished wine with energy and a beautifully mouthwatering finish.
