Château Clarke displays a beautiful crimson color in the glass with a deep purple rim. The nose is bright and precise, offering aromas of ripe wild berries and fresh cedar. With aeration, subtle woody and delicate vanilla notes emerge, enhancing the complex bouquet. The profile is full-bodied, rich, and well-balanced, with clean acidity lending elegance and velvety tannins leading to a smooth finish. This wine has excellent aging potential. . 94 points Wine Enthusiast. A grand vintage for this Edmond de Rothschild family-owned estate. The wine is rich, powerfully textured. It is solid with tannins that are considerable to balance the black fruits. This will age many years, drink from 2027. â Roger Voss. 93 points Vinous. The 2020 Clarke is a jewel of a wine. A blast of dark plum, espresso, leather, scorched earth and dried herbs makes a strong opening statement. Deep and packed to the core, Clarke is super-impressive in 2020.
